The Loch of Blairs project is an exciting community project which was initiated by the Finderne Community Council, who were awarded some initial funding from “Money for Moray.
The objectives are to enhance the area to create something that is used and cherished by local members of the community and visitors to the area alike. The main elements of the project are:
- to re-establish the Trout Fishery
- to refurbish and enhance footpaths and tracks
- to establish a Field Study Centre on the site of the Boathouse and Stables
- to create Bird Hides
