The Finderne Community Council is a statutory consultee for the proposals to dual the A96 and have been asked by Transport Scotland and their consultants, Mott Macdonald Sweco (MMS), to take part in a community council forum for the western section of the proposals between Hardmuir and Fochabers. Also on this forum are community councils representing Forres, Kinloss, Dyke & Landward, Auldearn and East Nairnshire.
