Our online checker was recently updated so that all properties report the relevant contract end date. Once the survey and planning stages have completed for a specific build phase, dates for properties in that phase are then updated to reflect the anticipated time to completion for that whole phase. Contract properties in Finderne are covered by two build phases but at the time of the most recent website update, only one had the necessary confirmations in place to update relevant build dates. We now have everything in place for the other phase and it will be reflected in the next website update scheduled for the end of this month.

We expect the majority of properties in each phase to have service available by March of next year, however for the reasons described in the video linked below, the website will report these as due for completion by the end of June. This allows for any challenges encountered during the build and commissioning phases. As you are aware, build has already started and we expect we will see the first properties in these phases having service available by the end of next month, with build continuing across the phases into Spring 2025.

The online checker reports anticipated completion dates for whole phase, rather than specific properties. That’s why we also encourage residents to visit: https://www.openreach.co.uk/r100 When entering property information, the user should select the “Keep me updated” option under Ultrafast Full Fibre Broadband. Openreach will confirm once service is available. Example below for a Rafford property:
